Apartment or a hotel- what is better?

Our apartments are a good alternative to a hotel. The shortest period of rent starts from 1 day and to several months. The reason of their popularity in Eastern Europe is the fact that it is a widely developed industry and our company has been successfully working in it for the last 6 years. High prices for hotel rooms and lack of privacy is only a few reasons why many people prefer apartment rental. Apartment is a home coziness and comfort of a hotel room.


Extra charges or hidden costs.

None. The apartment cost includes rental, internet (40Mb a day), public services, maid service*. The deposit you send by credit card or PayPal includes 4% bank fee.

Attention: You only pay for additional services: mini bar, crib, excursions, mobile phone rent, interpreter.

*Maid service. Rental fee includes cleaning the apartment before and after your stay + every 4th day of your stay. If you want a maid to come every day the cost will be $10. Important: Most of our clients prefer not to be bothered, so please let us know the time when you want the apartment to be cleaned.


Pets. If you are traveling with your pets.

If you are planning to travel with your pet, the selection of apartments will be limited. If you are planning to bring a pet with you, please let us know when reserving the apartment.


Arrival delay – what should you do.

If you have ordered airport transfer from our company you have nothing to worry about – our drivers are always informed about all the possible changes in the schedule. And be sure that you will be met in any case. We work 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please pay attention – if your flight is delayed for more than 2 hours the company has the right to charge you for the transfer. Also please notice – we do not have any extra charges for the night airport transfer. If you are getting to the apartment on your own please contact us upon your arrival. We always check arrival schedule and will be aware if your flight is being delayed.


Internet access. Price, how to order the service?

90% of our apartments have internet access; apartment description will include this information. In most of the apartments internet access (40Mb a day) is free of charge, if you use more – it will cost you maximum $4 a day. Please notice: there is no unlimited internet access in Ukraine. All packages are limited.

Sometimes you computer may not be able to get connected to the internet because of it settings. In this case we can send a specialist to help you. The service is free of charge, except in unusual cases.


How to choose and book an apartment.

For your convenience we offer a few apartment search options:

  • If you are looking for a definite location please use our map. For example, if you need a studio apartment at Kreschatik, please select “studio” option on the right from the map and check which apartment at the map suits you by location, click on it to see detailed information and reservation form.
  • Put your search criteria and the search system will give you best options that match your criteria.
  • Select “Apartments” button and you will be given full list of apartments we offer.

If you were not able to make the choice yourself please contact our manager in online chat, phone us or send an e-mail request and we will be happy to give you a few options according to your search criteria so you can make your choice.


How to move in the booked apartment?

After you have booked an apartment you will be e-mailed reservation confirmation with full details. If you rent the apartment for 10 days and more your airport or train station transfer will be free of charge for you. If the period of rent is less than 10 days the price of the airport transfer will be $31. Our driver will have the address of the apartment and the keys and will take you there. Our company also offers VIP airport service.

If your friends meet you or you have decided to get to the apartment on your own – contact us and give your arrival details. Our manager will meet you at the office where you can pay for the rent and get the keys. If you want the manager to meet you in the apartment – let us know in advance.


What is the policy of reservation cancellation?

Apartment reservation is a mutual obligation. Booking an apartment for you for the given dates we refuse to other customers interested in its rental.

In case if you cancel the reservation we do not give you the deposit back. But if you have some small changes in your arrival date we will definitely meet you halfway. We help customers who carefully plan dates of their stay. In case if your stay has shortened we do not give the payment back. But every case is individual and we will do our best to find the solution which suits both sides.

In case if we are the reason of reservation cancellation we undertake to give you the apartment of the same level or even better. In case if you are unhappy with the substitution we will give you back the full deposit.


When and how can I pay for the apartment?

You can pay the remaining amount to our manager upon the arrival. The amount has to be paid in cash in full amount. The payment can be made in dollars, euros or grivnas. If you are using euros or grivnas for payment we will convert it into dollars at the current exchange rate. Of course, we give receipt for any transaction.


Can I change check in, check out date?

Yes, it is possible! But unfortunately you will lose the deposit as the deposit guarantees apartment availability for the date you have chosen. But if you let us know about the change of the date a few days in advance most likely we will be able to help you and change the date.

If you have decided to stay in Kiev longer please let us know as soon as possible. If your apartment is already booked for the next days we will give you an alternative. The sooner you inform us the more likely we will be able to extend the rent of your apartment.


Problems in the apartment during your stay in it.

If something breaks down we will immediately send a specialist to repair it. As we operate as a hotel in case of worst development of the situation if the problem is not solved we will immediately move you to another apartment of the same level or even better.


Viewing the apartment by you or your friends. Is it possible?

Yes, it is possible on condition that the apartment is free at the moment. But mostly it is possible between 12pm and 1pm when the apartment is being cleaned. We can’t guarantee the viewing for 100% as when the apartment is taken we can’t bother out clients. You can be sure that pictures and description of the apartments are absolutely true.


Discounts, promotions, discount programs.

Yes, yes, yes!!! 5%-10% discounts and a VIP client card. “Mira for you” loyalty program, free transfer, - we always try to bring you more positive moments and pay attention to small gifts upon your arrival to Kiev.

Check in, check out time.

Check in time is 1pm.

Check out time is 12pm.

If the given time does not suit you please contact us to discuss it.

Pay attention:  If you are planning to check in or check out between 10pm and 9am you will have to order transfer from our company. We do not take extra charges for the night time transfer. We need the driver to collect the keys from the apartment, give you a deposit back or charge you for the rental.

Alternative option:  Our manager can meet you at the apartment to collect the keys, give you back the deposit at night time, but you will have to pay $15 for the taxi for the manager.

Can you move in earlier or check out later?

This option is possible without extra charge if the apartment is available. But we can’t guarantee it in advance as apartment rental is very popular and apartments are taken 27-28 days a month.

If you want to be sure that the apartment is going to be free the best way would be booking it one extra day if you need to check in earlier or check out later.


Do you need a deposit from me?

Yes. Depending on the apartment the amount will be $50-$200. If we take a deposit it will be stated in the receipt and given back to you when you check out from the apartment and it is in the same condition as when you checked in.

Attention:  If you are traveling with children or pets, please inform us in advance. If you are coming with children, the deposit will be $50-$100. If you are traveling with a pet, the deposit will be $100-$200. The deposit is a guarantee of that the condition of the apartment will remain the same after your stay. Please give us your check out date and time so that our manager can collect the keys and give you the deposit back.


What is a reservation system?

After we confirm that the apartment you have chosen is available you will have to send a deposit. The deposit amount is the price of one day stay in the apartment; it will be deducted from the cost of the whole stay. If you are booking an apartment for 7 days or less the deposit amount will be equal to one day stay in it, if 8 days and more – 2 days stay, if 15 days – three or more.

Can I book an apartment for any period of stay?

Yes, you are right! But if you are planning to rent an apartment for less than 4 days there is a possibility that we are not going to be able to give you the one you have chosen. In this case we will let you know in advance and give you an equal apartment, of the same level, or even better. Do not worry - we will do our best to make you happy with our service. Our database is the biggest in Kiev. Please contact us 3-4 days before your arrival and we will give you the information on your apartment.
